OBTAINING POLICE REPORTS

Copies of police reports made by the St. Matthews Police Department are available to the public. Reports are available 3 business days (M-F) after the report is made. The officer will give the complainant/reportee a business card with the report number.

Reports may be obtained by mail or in person. Cost of said police report is $5.00. No credit cards accepted. Checks should be made payable to the St. Matthews Police Dept.

To pick up a report in person:
Bring the report number and a picture ID. The business office hours are 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Monday through Friday excluding holidays. The business office is located at 3940 Grandview Ave, St. Matthews, KY 40207. Reports online are not available at this time. We hope to correct this in the near future.

To obtain a report by mail:
Send the report number along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope. The charge for mailed reports is $5.00. No credit cards accepted. Include payment with your request. Requests should be mailed to: St. Matthews Police Department 3940 Grandview Ave. St. Matthews, KY 40207.
